Colour has a significant effect on the body, and when used in the right way, it can bring balance and alignment. Indian traditions, Egyptian traditions and ancient Chinese medicine all have elements of colour therapy entwined into their rich cultural tapestries. There are also many more contemporary expressions and utilisations of colour healing that take place today.

All of the botanicals we use have been sustainably harvested for small batch dyes, so you may notice that the colour differs slightly from batch to batch. You may also notice natural vibrational tones across the fabrics, which we think are beautiful. Colours will naturally fade over time.

The colour of rich soil, walnut represents growth and invokes the steadiness of the earth.The walnut tree is associated with intelligence, wisdom and knowledge. It may also speak to feelings of strength and resilience. The husks, which are used to dye, were traditionally utilised in natural medicine and as ink.

The colour of intuitive creativity, diversity and growth. Pomegranate trees are a symbol of life and fertility. It has long been known and used for its health benefits and is considered the miracle fruit. The skins, which are used to dye, have been known to nurture skin conditions, and promote abundant health.
