This is a potent time of year to check in with yourself, not just physically, but energetically.Are you feeling grounded? Open-hearted? Creative? Or maybe you’re feeling scattered, closed off, disconnected from your body?

One way we love to use this time is through the lens of the chakras — the body’s energy centres that influence everything from safety and creativity to intuition and purpose. When one is out of balance, it can show up emotionally, physically or even in your daily habits. Here’s a little breakdown:
🌱 Root Chakra (Muladhara) – I am safe
Located at the base of your spine, it’s your anchor. If you’re feeling anxious, unsteady, or scattered — this might need some love.
💡 Grounding tip: Get outside barefoot. Eat root veggies. Wear deep red.
🌊 Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – I feel
This centre holds your creativity, sensuality, and emotional flow. Feeling blocked, disconnected from pleasure, or numb? You might be holding here.
💡 Nourish it: Dance. Connect with water. Wear orange. Get comfy in your body again.
🔥 Solar Plexus (Manipura) – I do
This is your confidence and action centre. If you’re doubting yourself, procrastinating, or feeling small — your solar plexus may be depleted.
💡 Ignite it: Set a small goal. Breathe into your belly. Wear yellow.
💚 Heart Chakra (Anahata) – I love
This one governs love, compassion, and connection — with others, and yourself. If you’re guarded, resentful, or struggling to receive, tune in here.
💡 Reconnect: Practice forgiveness. Breathe deeply. Surround yourself with green.
🎤 Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – I speak
Your voice matters. If you’ve been holding your tongue, struggling to express yourself or over-speaking from anxiety, your throat centre may be imbalanced.
💡 Express: Sing, journal, speak your truth gently. Wear light blue.
👁️ Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – I see
Your inner knowing lives here. If you’re feeling lost, indecisive, or stuck in overthinking — a recalibration might help.
💡 Support it: Rest. Meditate. Reduce stimulation. Wear indigo.
💜 Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – I am
This is your connection to something greater — whatever that means to you. Disconnection, apathy, or hopelessness can point to imbalance.
💡 Open up: Sit in silence. Gaze at the stars. Trust your path. Wear violet or white.
